Christmas Bash Tuesday 8th December

What a successful Christmas Bash we had on Tuesday. In fact on the night we were over subscribed.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the trophies and medals for the club championship and improvers cup. Over 60 members took part in these events which have taken place periodically since the spring. The winners are:

Improvers Cup:

1^st Ruth Milroy

2^nd Richard Clark

3^rd = Neil McArthur

3^rd = Iain Shanks

5^th Margaret Anderson

Best Junior Improver Connor Reid

Men’s Championship:

1^st Barry Copeland

2^nd Eoghan O'Neill

3^rd Graham Ritchie

Ladies Championship:

1^st Victoria Shanks

2^nd Josephine Thom

3^rd Andrinne Craig

Special mention should also be made of Craig Donoghue and Connor Reid who both received medals for completing six of the championship races and taking part in all six of the improvers cup events. George Reid also received special recognition for his Ultra Running Feats and the enthusiasm and motivation he brings to all club members, for this he was given a lifetime membership to the club.
